United Airlines is in hot water after a now-viral video revealed a 69-year-old passenger was forcibly removed from a plane by Chicago police―and got injured as a result―when a flight got overbooked. The statements released after the controversy only made matters worse. United CEO Oscar Munoz apologized for "having to re-accommodate" the passenger, a generous euphemism for "dragging him out of his seat."
