When purchasing a used vehicle you may be wondering if you should also buy an extended warranty.
Of course this will depend on your individual preference, but before you make a definitive choice, know your options.
Should I Invest In An Extended Warranty?
If you are planning on buying a used vehicle but do not plan on having it for more then three to four years, you do not need an extended warranty.
This means that if you buy or trade your vehicle frequently then purchasing an extended warranty would be a waste of money, as your vehicle would be covered under its original warranty.
However, if you plan on keeping your vehicle for longer than three to four years and have no desire to switch out your vehicle every few years, then an extended warranty would make for a good investment.
Again, an extended warranty should only be purchased based on your car buying preferences for it to make for a good investment.
