Hey, this is Ashley and I wanted to provide some great information. A slow leak in your tire can be super frustrating, and in order to be sure, you need to locate the leak.
Locating a Leak in a Tire
To locate a leak in your tire you can concoct a mixture of dish liquid soap and water into a spray bottle.
Using your spray bottle, squirt all over the tire you think is leaking, the valve system (with valve cap off), treads and sidewalls etc until you see bubbles form.
Once you see bubbles, you have located your leak.
What Causes a Tire to Leak Air?
Unfortunately, like everything else, the valve on your tire can deteriorate, this too can be the same for the wheel rim.
What To Do with A Slow Leak in Your Tire
Once you have identified the leak in your tire, it is best to not continue driving on it, as it could be lower than the manufacture recommends.
If so, this can cause for dangerous driving. The best thing to do is to schedule an appointment with your Service Department and get your vehicle back in proper working order.
